The finalists have been revealed for the 3rd annual makers & shakers Awards.
This year’s shortlist represent trailblazers from all over the world and features remarkable utilisations of location, bold campaigns to enhance the global screen industries and pushing the boundaries of the global screen industries through innovation, diversity, sustainability and technology. These ideas were generated by some of the industry’s most creative and foreword-thinking figures, capturing the restless spirit of development which has come to define film, television and advertising in the post-pandemic climate.

About the Awards
Launched at BAFTA in December 2019, the makers & shakers Awards celebrate excellence in global production. After two successful award ceremonies, we will once again spotlight innovative and impactful contributions made by production professionals, freelancers, film commissions, government film liaison offices, studios, production services, support businesses and facilities.
We believe it is important to recognise the achievements of professionals who work tirelessly to facilitate and support the work of creatives. While traditional awards are fantastic at honouring the best creative work, they often overlook the achievements of professionals who pioneer change within the global industry. This is why the makers & shakers Awards was born: with the intention of celebrating exceptional work that is being done on the ground.
Our jury of leading international professionals - including Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (UK), LMGI, PACT and winners from the past editions - are ready to judge entries across six categories:
