John Rakich DGCO/ATAS/ is a Supervising Location Manager with over 23 years of experience working on long and short format features and numerous television series for studios and streaming services.

He is the current President of the Location Managers Guild International as well as a board member of the Directors Guild of Canada Ontario as the Location Caucus Representative.

A frequent speaker at college campuses, industry symposiums and a contributor of articles about production sustainability, labour workforce development, education and training and the economic benefits of location-based filming, he’s also a regular panelist at San Diego Comic Con speaking about locations and location scouting.
