Lisa began working as an assistant film editor and script supervisor on Channel 4 shorts and features at 20yrs old before going on to explore Assistant Directing, on HETV Period Drama & Features. She did a stint producing the Northern Lights Film Festival, curating a programme that celebrated disruptors, mischief-makers and rule-breakers working across creative platforms.

Lisa joined Northern Film + Media to explore a more strategic role as a talent and professional development manager, interested in nurturing new talent. Working alongside Exec Producer and Hot House Co-founder Emma Lawson, Lisa is the boots on the ground managing the development and delivery of North East Comedy Hot House, championing outstanding Northern scripted comedy voices and showcasing talent from the margins that want to disrupt and entertain.
