Louise Patel - The Time Project

In 2015, Louise Patel launched Share My Telly Job (www.sharemytellyjob.com) to address key issues: full-time, full-on freelance TV jobs are almost impossible to maintain effectively when lives outside of work become more complicated. Hundreds of freelancers feel forced to walk away from a career they love every year, so the ‘dating app’ styled website offers a community of over 5,000 members job-share opportunities. This year, she set up The Time Project (www.thetimeproject.co.uk) an industry-wide method for recording working hours for everyone working off-screen in British film and television.
